Several Puffer-Sweiven employees participated in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk. Our company had a great turnout and we helped raise over $2,000 for the American Cancer Society! It turned out to be a beautiful day and everyone had an enjoyable time participating in such an uplifting event.
Employees and family from our San Antonio office walked to support the effort to cure breast cancer in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure.
We collected donations of nonperishable food items for the Souper Bowl of Caring by placing bins in each of our Houston area office locations. We are proud to have participated in this great cause to help fight hunger and poverty in Houston communities.
Over 30 Puffer-Sweiven employees and family members volunteered at the Houston Food Bank. Our efforts provided over 1100 food boxes for the elderly that were in need within the Houston and surrounding communities. Immediately after a pallet of food boxes was assembled by the team it went straight to the Food Bank trucks for delivery. [...]
Congressman Pete Olson- US Representative for the 22nd District of Texas, visited Puffer-Sweiven’s Stafford office on Friday May 25th. During his visit the Congressman toured the Stafford operations and performed a ribbon cutting for the new warehouse expansion. He also held a town hall meeting for employees and met with the management team.
In collaboration with Team Emerson, Puffer-Sweiven employees completed the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure bicycle event that took place in Houston on September 24th. Their participation and fundraising efforts helped Team Emerson exceed their fundraising goal for this event.
