Habitat for Humanity

A group of 34 Puffer-Sweiven family and friends gave of their time on a Saturday morning at Habitat for Humanity's Restore in Houston. Fun was had by all despite a few unexpected encounters with insects, a conveyor belt that had a mind of its own, marking and moving a mountain of ceramic tiles, and sorting through a stack of doors that seemed to reach the sky. Despite all this, the 34 Puffer-Sweiven family and friends that pitched in on Saturday had a great time. Some of us became sales people on sudden notice, and others became great customers for the store. Needless to say, there was never a dull moment, and we helped get products on the store's shelves faster, which ultimately leads to more funding to help build homes for those in need in Houston.
