The Rotational Engineering Co-Op Program provides hands-on experience across Panel Shop & Field Services, Applications Projects & Upgrades, and Advanced Automation Services. Participants develop skills in automation, control systems, hardware, software, and field engineering through real-world projects and technical training.

Students will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gain experience in system commissioning, cybersecurity, and modernization projects, and strengthen their communication and leadership skills.

ROTATION 1:
Panel Shop &
Field Services

(16 week rotation)
Build and test electrical control panels while developing foundational automation and wiring skills. Partner with a DeltaV specialist to support field services and learn how control systems keep plants operating safely and reliably.

ROTATION 2:
Upgrades &
Applications

(12-16 week rotation)
Gain practical experience designing and supporting automation systems, including DeltaV configuration, programming, and troubleshooting. Partner with engineers on projects from design to startup while learning how automation drives safe and efficient operations.

ROTATION 3:
Advanced Automation
Services & Sales

(16 week rotation)
Explore advanced automation and cybersecurity solutions while helping improve control system performance and plant safety. Work alongside sales professionals to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that support business growth.

Who We’re Looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
  • Sophomores who are on track to begin their junior year at the start of the Co-Op Program
