The Gabbioneta VBN centrifugal pump series are designed to minimise axial thrust in low NPSH applications.
The VBN and VBN-DS Gabbioneta Pumps TM are vertical multistage, heavy duty process pumps, available in double casing or wet pit configuration.
A wide range of sizes, number of stages and large eye suction or double suction 1st stage impeller, that allows to meet low NPSH requirements, complete the variery of the offered products.
Pump shaft, in one or two pieces, is fully machined to respect the more restrictive run-out API limits while labyrints and deflectors at both bearing housing maximase protection against dirt.
As option, air fan cooling on bearing bracket and mechanical seal, when required by hot temparature applications, and additional rigid coupling, to facilitate mechanical seal maintenance activities, can be provided.
