Puffer-Sweiven Corpus Christi donated six complete Thanksgiving meals for the 2nd Annual "Thanksgiving for 1000” fundraiser hosted by Asbury United Methodist Church.
Thanksgiving for 1000 provides a complete Thanksgiving meal and a $20 HEB gift card for a family to buy their choice of protein. Meals are delivered to the Department of Family and Protective Services, local elementary schools, church partners, and veterans living in affordable housing complexes.
Last year over 800 meals were provided to families in the Corpus Christi area.
