Puffer Sweiven's Field Instrumentation Business Unit donated much needed supplies for instruction to the Houston Community College's Energy Institute.

Puffer Sweiven sought to donate surplus inventory and equipment to an organization that could use it for educational and training purposes. As the demand for well trained, knowledgeable employees grows in the future, working with our local community colleges is a perfect match. This will allow the students to work with the equipment and supplies they will encounter in the process industry after graduation.

The donation included pressure and temperature gauges, fittings, valves, tubing, thermowells and solenoid valves. Alan Isaachsen- Instrumentation and Controls Instructor said, "We have received very valuable parts that can be used in both the Instrumentation and Control Technology and Process Technology programs. Students can use the parts to measure pressure and check for accuracy and will work well with existing equipment in the labs."

Puffer-Sweiven has a long history of giving back to the local communities and wants to continue to expand on its core values and philosophy in which we do business- Collaborate-Solve-Deliver.
